Last year I started educating myself about
food. I read a lot of articles, books and blogs. What I discovered scared me, and since then I
have been trying to improve the way we eat. I have made my goal to educate my
kids about food and the effect food have in their bodies and minds. I know that one day I won’t be able to make
decisions for them and I can only hope they would make the right decisions and
live a healthy live.
This has been a long process. Not only I am
dealing with small kids but am dealing with people that look at me like I am
crazy and need to find a new hobby, even my family. But at the same time I have found amazing
friends in the way, people that share my beliefs in healthy food and have
become my support circle and I am very grateful for them.
I know that
as a family we are not where I want us to be. We can do better and this has
become my mission for 2013. I will use this blog to document my thoughts,
recipes and my everyday struggle to change.
